I don't know if you are asking about your anger or the collective anger that we should feel about some of the crap, injustice, whatever that goes on in the world. If you are asking about why are not you angry, you have answered your own question. Life is good for you. It is hard to get angry when you are happy. As for the other, I cannot begin to fathom a cogent answer.

I agree with you. What I really wanted to say wasn't so much that we shouldn't call for resignations in the case of failings. What I'd really like to see is more willingness to accept people who have made mistakes in positions of power. At least it's a step forward that Obama is willing to admit prior drug use compared to President Clinton's approach to that topic. But I think when we demand squeaky clean people, we're inevitably ignoring the fact that no one is squeaky clean.

Being a politician requires a certain level of trust. To engage in such hypocritical activity forces the question, if you are willing to lie about something so personal to you and your family, the people that you love and care about, then what assurances to I have (as a voter) that you will not lie to me or screw me over (all pun intended)?

It's completely unclear who did all this stuff, but Schneider passes the buck in what I've read. I really don't know who to believe.

Wow. Schneider is possibly in deep big trouble for this crap. The current flap with the GPDSC is going to be small beans, if this stuff turns out to be true.

I just don't understand this circuit either. The JQC allegations have been around since early part of 2006. I remember reading the allegations against this Judge when I was at a GPDSC seminar in Helen. If this had been anyone else, either DA or PD, they would have been gone by now.

A long time ago, I interviewed for an open ADA spot in that circuit. I knew something was wrong with Madison just from that meeting; the guy exuded sleaze. Oddly enough, I know the current DA for that circuit. We used to butt heads in Franklin County way back when. Also, a mutual "friend" of ours, DQ is out in circuit working as an ADA.

A few classmates of mine used to work in the Clayton DA's office and they have told me that it has been a madhouse there for a number of years.

Plus, Pendergrass and most of the small towns in Jackson County are speed and traffic traps. The cops out there are trying to crucify the Solicitor for not prosecuting DUI cases. Hmmmm, I wonder why?
